Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jik Chuyhn Jyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aggo Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ko has chosen Road To Destruction as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jik Chuyhn Jyu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aggo Ko!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jyu to the mat! Jyu manages to get full guard.

Ko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jyu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jyu has escaped and now he's on top!
Jyu looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Jyu advances to half guard.

Ko looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Jyu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jyu keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Ko actively working from the bottom here.
Jyu content to control rather than advance.

Ko looking for subs from the bottom but Jyu mounts him!
Ko looks gassed!

Jyu working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Ko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jyu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jyu controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ko is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Jyu controlling the pace for now.
Ko is trying to reverse the position but instead Jyu has taken his back - oops!
Ko turns into Jyu and is now in his guard.
Jyu seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jyu dives on top into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jyu advances to half guard.

Ko actively working from the bottom here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ko looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jyu is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jyu is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ko!
Ko tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jyu controlling the position easily from mount.
Jyu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ko has given up his back.
Jyu is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Jyu is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ko knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ko for a finish.
Ko tries to escape but Jyu has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jik Chuyhn Jyu dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Jyu shoots in and bounces Ko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Ko looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jyu has picked Ko up and slammed him! Ko can't keep hold of the triangle and Jyu manages to pass to side control!

Jyu has an Americana. Ko didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jyu is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jyu hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jik Chuyhn Jyu!
