Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Maze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Henning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henning has chosen In For the Count ( Perfect Twist) as his entrance music. Billy Maze has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maze cracks the inside of Henning's front leg.
Henning throws a leg kick
and Maze counters with a nice kick to the body.
Maze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maze throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Henning closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maze throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Henning manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maze on his heels. He'll look to pass Maze's guard now, I'm sure.
Henning tries to free his leg and advance position but Maze is retaining full guard.
Maze is looking to stand up but Henning isn't so interested in that idea.

Henning gets to his feet. Maze looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Maze pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Henning back to the cage. Maze follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Henning shoots in for a takedown but Maze shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Maze darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Maze clobbers Henning with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Maze is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maze, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Henning walks forward, straight into a front kick from Maze.

Henning shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maze's guard.
