The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McOut doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McOut misses with a combination
and Kirby counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Tappy McOut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kirby counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McOut throws a poor cross that misses

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McOut shoots in looking for a takedown but Kirby manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McOut's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Horrible takedown by McOut or perhaps it was just good defense by Kirby which made him look bad.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McOut might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kirby has got the better of the exchanges.
The crowd cheers as Kirby lands an impressive looking overhand right. McOut doesn't seem phased though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

McOut is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kirby defends it well.

McOut working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

McOut working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kirby turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McOut off and cradles Kirby's limp body as McOut celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Tappy McOut!
