The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Choo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Choo slows the pace down in half guard.
Choo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Choo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jackons hang on?

Choo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jackons has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jackons!
Jackons has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Choo seems keen to control Jackons's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackons preventing the sweep.
Choo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Choo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Choo moves nicely into side control.
Choo slows the pace down.
Jackons wants to get back to his feet but Choo drags him back down.

Choo controlling the position.
Choo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jackons!

Choo wants to finish this one by submission but Jackons is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Choo.
Jackons has given up his back.

Choo patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Choo has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jackons! Can he survive? No! He's out! Choo gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
