Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soo Kim Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwight Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Soo Kim Yamamoto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yamamoto stuffs the takedown.
Yamamoto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Yamamoto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Yamamoto tries to score with some ground and pound. Johnson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is looking to reverse the position.

Yamamoto working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yamamoto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yamamoto's back instead.

Johnson looks like he's trying to stand up.

Yamamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Johnson is looking to stand up but Yamamoto isn't so interested in that idea.
Yamamoto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yamamoto pulls his leg out and moves away.

Johnson has Yamamoto pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yamamoto manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Yamamoto distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A shot to the body from Johnson misses

so Yamamoto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Johnson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Yamamoto should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Johnson has tightened it up now! Yamamoto should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
