Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephenson swings widly with a right hand
and Toney counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Toney throws a right hand that Stephenson ducks under and follows up with a left that Stephenson also avoids with ease.
Toney misses with a combination
and Stephenson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Stephenson tries to work over Toney's front leg with a kick but Toney checks it.
Toney scores with a one two! Stephenson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Toney throws a leg kick
and Stephenson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Toney thinking.
Toney misses with a wild combination.
Stephenson avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Toney counters with a three punch combo that has Stephenson backing up. Stephenson nods at Toney to acknowledge the strikes.
Stephenson is rocked!
No joy there for Toney, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Stephenson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A combination from Toney does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stephenson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Stephenson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Toney is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Stephenson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Stephenson!! Stephenson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Toney throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Toney!
