The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov throws a nice looking combination but Duck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ivanov shoots in and drives through. Duck sprawls well.
Ivanov misses with a series of wild punches.
Ivanov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duck connects with a solid leg kick.
Ivanov throws a right hand that Duck ducks under and follows up with a left that Duck also avoids with ease.
Ivanov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ivanov fails with a takedown attempt.
Ivanov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ivanov tries for a takedown but Duck sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Donald Duck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cj Ivanov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivanov swings for the body but Duck moves out of range.

Duck gets caught flat footed, as Ivanov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Duck controls Ivanov momentarily but Ivanov frees himself.
Ivanov tries to stand but Duck is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Duck wants to sweep but no luck.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ivanov wanted to stand there but Duck had control of the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ivanov stops Duck from standing up.
Duck trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Ivanov tries to stand but Duck is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ivanov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duck but Duck pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ivanov shoots in for a double leg but Duck sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sloppy strikes from Ivanov. Those never looked like landing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Duck enables Ivanov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Duck manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Duck looking for a triangle here. Ivanov is fighting it but it looks tight! Duck pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ivanov is tapping out - this one is all over!
