Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Macon Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and O Shea Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson comes to the cage accompanied by Gnarls Barkley - Going On. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson throws a front kick that sends Jackson stumbling back into the cage.
Jefferson closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson fails to pull guard.
Jackson takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like O Shea Jackson has been cut.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jefferson walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Macon Jefferson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of O Shea Jackson.
Jefferson tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

and Jefferson counters with a good low kick that Jackson was not able to check.

and Jefferson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jackson's knee momentarily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jefferson. Jackson shrugs it off though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jefferson scores with a head kick. Jackson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.

and Jefferson counters with a leg kick.
Jefferson's corner calls for a 1-2. Jefferson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Jefferson drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Jackson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jefferson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Jefferson misses with a knee strike.
Jefferson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jefferson throws an elbow but misses.
Jackson fails to pull guard.
Jackson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Jefferson looking to throw knees to the head but Jackson is blocking nicely.
Jefferson misses with a knee strike.
Jefferson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Jefferson is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jefferson drops Jackson with a big knee straight up the middle! Jackson is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Jefferson finish him?
Jefferson lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Jefferson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.

Jefferson has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Jackson avoids a wild elbow strike from Jefferson.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Jefferson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Jefferson.
Still in the clinch, Jefferson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Jackson has had enough of the clinch but Jefferson keeps him there for the moment.
Jefferson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jackson's efforts to push away.
Jefferson has Jackson pressed against the cage. He pushes Jackson back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Jefferson throws a beautiful elbow that sends Jackson crashing to the floor! Jefferson piles on the pressure with more strikes! Jackson is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Macon Jefferson!
