Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Jupiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harques Wolfwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harques Wolfwood is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sterling Jupiter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harques Wolfwood! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfwood tries to sprawl but Jupiter drives through with a takedown into half guard. Jupiter moves nicely into side control. Jupiter in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jupiter misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The strikes coming from Jupiter are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Jupiter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jupiter lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Wolfwood is not content to let Jupiter control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jupiter creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Jupiter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wolfwood has escaped the position, nice work there. Wolfwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jupiter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jupiter wants to control but Wolfwood is keeping him busy. Jupiter works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jupiter is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wolfwood's shoulder. That is not cool. Wolfwood is not content to let Jupiter control the position. Jupiter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wolfwood can do anything to dispel that myth. Jupiter controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jupiter is trying to get an arm triangle but Wolfwood is defending well. Jupiter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wolfwood is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wolfwood managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jupiter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wolfwood gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Jupiter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wolfwood to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wolfwood shrugs it off. Jupiter trying to control but Wolfwood is having none of it. Wolfwood avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jupiter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sterling Jupiter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jupiter misses with a hook
letting Wolfwood counter with a right hand. A punch lands to the side of Jupiter 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jupiter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wolfwood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wolfwood looks to land a combination but Jupiter avoids it well. Wolfwood throws a right and a left that both miss. Wolfwood swings for the body but Jupiter moves out of range.
Jupiter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wolfwood lands with a cross. Wolfwood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jupiter.
Wolfwood tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jupiter was well out of range. Poor timing from Wolfwood. Wolfwood connects with a crisp jab. Wolfwood connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jupiter's hands. Jupiter avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wolfwood scores with a nice strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice defenses there by Wolfwood. Jupiter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wolfwood defends it nicely. Jupiter fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sterling Jupiter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jupiter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolfwood's waist but Wolfwood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jupiter off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfwood lands a really nice looking cross but Jupiter seems unphased.
Wolfwood loads up on a big right hand but Jupiter slips the punch. Wolfwood misses with an uppercut. Wolfwood lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wolfwood scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jupiter in his tracks. A big left from Wolfwood misses. Wolfwood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jupiter avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jupiter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wolfwood scores with a jab. Jupiter acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wolfwood, as that shot connected.
Wolfwood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Wolfwood jabs Jupiter to the body, keeping him at a distance. Wolfwood looks to land a right hand but Jupiter moved out of range. Jupiter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wolfwood throws a series of punches but Jupiter moves out of range. Wolfwood swinging wildly here.
Wolfwood connects with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolfwood tries to score with a low kick but Jupiter moves his leg out of the way. Wolfwood ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wolfwood scores with a three punch combo!
Good standup being displayed there by Wolfwood as he connects with a hook. Wolfwood lands a left and a right that send Jupiter crashing to the mat, dazed. Wolfwood thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jupiter is rocked! Wolfwood fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Jupiter to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Jupiter looks to clinch but Wolfwood throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Jupiter taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Harques Wolfwood!
