The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaagen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Russel's calf.
Russel throws a hook to the side of Vaagen's head but Vaagen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Russel tries to close the distance and clinch but Vaagen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Russel throws the kick towards the body but Vaagen avoids it.
Russel throws a nice looking combination but Vaagen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Vaagen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Russel rolls with it to try and escape but Vaagen cranks on the arm and Russel is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
