Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Wenkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Van Rijn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Rijn has chosen Francesco Zappalà - No Way Out as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wenkel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Wenkel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Van Rijn's guard.
Wenkel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Rijn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mike Van Rijn seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Wenkel has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Van Rijn is trying to keep an underhook but Wenkel manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Wenkel uses his free foot to push down on Van Rijn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Van Rijn.
Wenkel is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Van Rijn is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Van Rijn flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wenkel anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Van Rijn and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wenkel slips an arm under Van Rijn chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wenkel has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wenkel is squeezing on Van Rijn like an anaconda would it's prey. Van Rijn fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
