Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Truck The Icepick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues has chosen Reno as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Icepick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The Icepick closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rodrigues creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rodrigues jumps guard but The Icepick stands there with Rodrigues around his waist. Rodrigues gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rodrigues jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Icepick walks away with a smile on his face. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Truck The Icepick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Rodrigues.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rodrigues is trying to escape the mount but The Icepick keeps good control and instead manages to take Rodrigues's back.
