The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesque lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robert circles away quickly and effectively.
Vesque turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Robert doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vesque counters with a one-two to the body.
Robert fails with the takedown
and Vesque counters with a crisp right hand that drops Robert! Vesque lets Robert back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Jacques Robert has been cut.
Robert is holding his hands too far apart here. Vesque throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Robert is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
