Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bors De Camlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flip Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bors De Camlan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Flip Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Camlan misses with a two punch combination.

Marshall gets the takedown into side control.
Marshall throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
De Camlan tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marshall is putting a hurting on De Camlan here, landing some big shots from side control.

Marshall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
De Camlan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
De Camlan tries to roll over but Marshall keeps him under control.
Marshall looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
De Camlan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marshall is working away from the top position though.
De Camlan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Marshall wants to get up but he can't break De Camlan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Marshall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

De Camlan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marshall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Marshall got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Camlan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marshall has managed to get both his arms back between De Camlan's legs - danger averted.
De Camlan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
De Camlan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marshall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marshall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

De Camlan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Marshall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Marshall's back!

De Camlan is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Marshall has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

De Camlan is looking for a choke. Marshall gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Marshall manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

De Camlan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marshall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marshall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Marshall is going oldschool here, as he tries to force De Camlan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so De Camlan shrugs it off.

Flip Marshall dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


De Camlan is looking to score with low kicks.

De Camlan tries to bum rush Marshall with a series of wild strikes but Marshall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bors De Camlan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marshall shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. De Camlan is trying to defend but Marshall finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Marshall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and De Camlan defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bors De Camlan will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
