Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenta Kobashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Okusaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenta Kobashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Okusaka!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okusaka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Okusaka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kobashi is fending him off so far but Okusaka persists. Nope, Kobashi circles away and we're back to standing.

and Okusaka counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kobashi wants to control but Okusaka is keeping busy.
Okusaka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Okusaka holds on and takes a little breather.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kobashi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Okusaka to the mat! Okusaka manages to get full guard.

Richard Okusaka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Okusaka looking to sit in guard and control but Kobashi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kenta Kobashi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I've got Okusaka winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
