Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pavlik Mass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Durham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mass is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Pavlik Mass could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to James Durham's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Durham.

Durham takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Durham decides to stand up.
Durham shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Durham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mass tries to hold on but Durham postures up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mass keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mass dodges the punch combination from Durham.
Durham misses with a head kick.
Durham closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mass to the mat! Mass manages to get full guard.
Mass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Durham is one step ahead there.
Durham slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Durham works to advance to full mount. Mass defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

OK we're going to have a standup here. James Durham hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Durham looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Durham landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Durham connects with a nice short shot to Mass's temple.
Mass has a hand on Durham's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Durham takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Durham has hold of one of Mass's legs. Mass is fighting the takedown attempt but Durham gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mass looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Durham puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Durham tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

James Durham comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Durham has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
