Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Finn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Raymonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finn comes into the arena with Von Bondies - C'mon c'mon blaring out of the sound system. Mickey Finn could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Daniel Raymonds's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Finn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Finn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Raymonds counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Raymonds has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Finn is proving hard to escape from.
Finn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Raymonds is one step ahead there.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Daniel Raymonds wasn't active enough on the ground.
Raymonds misses with a takedown attempt

and Finn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Raymonds's guard.
Finn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raymonds swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Finn wants to control from the top but Raymonds keeps moving.

Finn fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Raymonds to the ground. Finn is now in Raymonds's guard.

Raymonds is trying to stand up here but Finn is controlling him well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Finn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Finn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Raymonds has his takedown stuffed

and Finn counters with a takedown into side control.
Finn is looking to take a break and control but Raymonds is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Raymonds takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
