Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Mojo - Peeping Tom. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikio Okita! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie fails to land with a series of punches.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Okita avoids it well. Okita throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Okita off to one side. Gracie misses with a low kick as Okita jumps back. Okita keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gracie throws a right and a left that Okita avoids nicely. Gracie lands a two punch combo.
Okita looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well. Gracie lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Okita backs up against the cage.
Gracie tries to land a front kick but Okita steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gracie throws a series of punches but Okita avoids them all with ease. Gracie throws a right and a left that both miss. Gracie looks for the body kick but Okita saw that one coming. No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A head kick misses from Gracie. Gracie throws a body punch but Okita moves out of range. Okita closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Okita lands in his opponent's guard. Gracie trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okita trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gracie is working for a kimura but Okita is defending it quite comfortably.
Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Gracie wants to work for an arm triangle but Okita is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Okita misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Gracie is tying to control. Okita wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gracie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Okita is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gracie is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Okita defends the submission attempt.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gracie motions for Okita to come forward. Gracie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gracie moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Okita. Gracie misses with a double jab.
Okita just misses with a punch to the body.
Aaron Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Okita shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. Okita trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Okita throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Okita is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okita had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gracie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Okita Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gracie's back instead. Okita is looking for the choke from the back position but Gracie is controlling his hands well. Okita is trying to stick to Gracie's back but Gracie is turning into Okita. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Okita's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gracie. Okita wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling him. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Okita is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Okita has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie trying to control but Okita is working from the bottom. Gracie preventing the sweep. Gracie looking to pass the guard. Gracie passes Okita's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okita is trying to get back to full guard. Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gracie prevents Okita from getting the reversal. Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Okita has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Okita has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Okita is really stuck here.
Okita tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Okita is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Gracie fails to advance to Okita's back. Gracie goes for an armbar but Okita turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Okita. Okita trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mikio Okita will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Gracie misses the body punch and Okita counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now. Gracie looking to control.
Okita avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Okita passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Okita is tying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gracie tries to get to full guard but Okita has control of the leg. Gracie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Okita pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okita is pressing down on Gracie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gracie is holding on for now. Okita with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Okita looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Okita missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gracie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Okita shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Okita lands with some strikes. Okita controlling from the full mount. Okita get's back to his feet. Okita avoids a punch combination nicely.
Okita misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie misses with a wild combination.
Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gracie throws a series of punches but Okita moves out of range. Okita shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gracie has his foot on Okita's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Okita works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Okita. Gracie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Okita wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie trying to control the position here. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Okita loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gracie working a defensive guard here.

Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Okita is working away from the top position though. Gracie blocking the ground and pound attempt from Okita. Okita wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. Okita scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Okita shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily. Aaron Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikio Okita. Gracie misses with a double jab.

Mikio Okita showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Okita blocks a low kick nicely. Gracie keeps the fight on the outside. Okita closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gracie wants to improve his position but Okita is controlling well.
Gracie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Okita. Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Okita works his way into full mount! Okita is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gracie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's one minute gone in the round. Okita has control of Gracie's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gracie regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gracie sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Mikio Okita has got the better of the ground game so far. Okita missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gracie is trying to control but can't.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Okita is controlling well.
Okita is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Okita tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Okita shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Okita showed some decent athleticism there. Okita is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Okita passes into side control, despite Gracie's attempt to control the position.
Okita tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Gracie gets back to half guard. Okita works his way into full mount! Gracie can't escape the position.
Gracie manages to regain half guard. Good work. Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Okita's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Okita's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking to control Okita but Okita is wriggling around and keeping busy. Okita manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gracie's guard. Nice work there by Okita.

Okita trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie is trying to control the position but Okita postures up. Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Okita's guard. Okita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Okita is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Okita can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Okita trying to hold on to Gracie's head to control him but Gracie postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Okita is defending well.
Okita moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Okita is retaining full guard. Okita looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Okita is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gracie scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gracie works over Okita's head and body with a nice combination.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mikio Okita. I've got Okita winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
