Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uncomfortable Positions (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dynamite Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fear is Our Tradition by Ignite. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Positions throws a low kick but Nixon moves out of range easily.
Nixon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nixon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Positions is pressing down on Nixon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Nixon looking to pass the guard.
Nixon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Positions is looking for a triangle here but Nixon uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Positions darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nixon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Positions working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nixon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nixon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Positions looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nixon is one step ahead there.

Positions looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Positions is looking for a sweep. Nixon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Positions manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Positions escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nixon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Positions throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nixon escapes and throws Positions's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Positions is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dynamite Nixon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Positions is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nixon.
Positions turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Positions looks to throw a body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nixon thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Nixon counters with a nice body shot.

and Positions counters with a leg kick.
Nixon swings widly with a right hand
enabling Positions to counter with a crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Positions.
Nixon throws a poor cross that misses
and Positions counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nixon's knee momentarily.
Nixon tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Positions counters with a good low kick that Nixon was not able to check.
Uncomfortable Positions has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Nixon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nixon wants to clinch but Positions slips to the side
and Positions counters with an outside leg kick.
Positions lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nixon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dynamite Nixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Positions counters with an outside leg kick.
Positions throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Nixon to counter with a crisp jab.
Positions throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Nixon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nixon throws a lazy uppercut
and Positions counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nixon's knee momentarily.
Positions misses with a head kick.
Positions looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Nixon closes the distance looking to clinch
and Positions counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Positions throws a low kick, looking for Nixon's leg but Nixon calmly moves out of range.
Dynamite Nixon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Nixon throws a hook but Positions avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Uncomfortable Positions showed his dominance in that final round.
