Muliva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Verdune is trying to improve his position.
Verdune gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Muliva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Verdune does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Muliva is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Verdune is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
