Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bonzi Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raul Negrete!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Negrete avoids a kick to the body.
Negrete shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Williams throws a series of punches but Negrete avoids them all with ease.
Williams is looking to clinch but Negrete is avoiding it.
Bonzi Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams tries to clinch up but Negrete circles away and keeps his distance.
Williams closes the distance and clinches.
Williams wants to get back to striking at distance but Negrete won't allow it.
Negrete has picked Williams up - he's going for a ride! Negrete dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Williams has one foot on Negrete's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Negrete keeps control of Williams as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Williams stops a takedown attempt from Negrete.
Negrete prevents Williams from breaking the clinch.
Negrete tries to pull guard but Williams won't allow it.
Bonzi Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Negrete.
Negrete has hold of one of Williams's legs. Williams is fighting the takedown attempt but Negrete gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Negrete trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.
Negrete stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position.

Williams is looking to stand up but Negrete isn't so interested in that idea.
Negrete is standing up over Williams. Williams looks to escape but Negrete dives into side control.
Williams pushes Negrete away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Negrete gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Negrete throws a strike aimed at the side of Williams's head but Williams avoids it well.
Williams is trying to buck Negrete off.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Negrete misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Negrete has a takedown stuffed.
Williams scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Raul Negrete has been cut.
Williams drops Negrete with a nice combination! Williams dives into Negrete's guard, looking to finish!
Negrete is rocked!
Williams wants to stand but Negrete has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Negrete is still in real trouble! Can Williams finish him?

Negrete looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Williams lands a couple of digs.
Negrete seems to have recovered his senses.
Negrete trying to strike off his back.
Negrete wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment.
Negrete is working an open guard so Williams takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Williams is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Negrete flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Negrete is out cold! Williams holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
