Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philippe Chuteboxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Boans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boans has chosen Walk by Pantera as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuteboxe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boans eats them both and turns towards Chuteboxe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Jon Boans has been cut.
Boans dodges the punch combination from Chuteboxe.
Boans takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Chuteboxe tries a head kick but it misses.
Chuteboxe lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chuteboxe stalks Boans and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boans's face. Boans staggers backwards, shaken.
Boans shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chuteboxe defends it nicely.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jon Boans hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Boans closes the distance and clinches up with Chuteboxe, looking for a takedown. Boans pushes Chuteboxe against the cage but Chuteboxe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chuteboxe lands with a kick to the temple. Boans shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Boans shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chuteboxe as he jumps to the side.

and Boans counters with a single leg into guard. Chuteboxe didn't expect that.
Boans lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Boans lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Boans wants to pass the guard but Chuteboxe is keeping the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boans postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
