Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva takes the fight into the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Silva.
A frustrated look appears on OReily's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Silva connects with a nasty looking knee right to OReily's face.
It looks like Ryan OReily has been cut.

OReily dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
OReily trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OReily controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
OReily drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and OReily jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for OReily on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan OReily wasn't active enough on the ground.
OReily dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on OReily's head and hops out.
OReily shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed OReily's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alexander Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan OReily.
OReily shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. OReily gets slowly back to his feet.

and Silva counters with a big head kick but OReily shrugs it off.
Silva closes the distance and pushes OReily back into the cage.

and Silva counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

OReily feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OReily throws and elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in OReily's guard. Nice move by Silva!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
OReily is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
OReily escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of OReily is proving hard to escape from.
OReily working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Silva is sitting in close to OReily's body. OReily has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silva is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silva is tapping! That was a very nice submission by OReily.
