Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Absten Brews! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brews throws a leg kick which misses Himura's front leg but catches the back leg as Himura tries to avoid it. Brews tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Himura counters with a single leg into guard. Brews didn't expect that. Brews is trying to control the position but Himura postures up. Brews throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Himura really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Brews pulls Himura in close to prevent any damage. Brews throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

We're going to have a standup here because Anatoliy Himura wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Brews chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brews looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brews gets caught flat footed, as Himura shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Himura got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brews has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Himura has managed to get both his arms back between Brews's legs - danger averted. Brews is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Brews has a closed guard, preventing Himura from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brews is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Himura frees his head nicely. Oh but Brews has switched to an armbar! Himura is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
