Core has chosen Emicida - Triunfo as his entrance music. Bruno Core is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Leite!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Core!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leite throws a left and a right that both miss
and Core counters with a single leg into guard. Leite didn't expect that.
Leite avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Leite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Core on the ground.
Leite wants to stand and escape but Core is having none of it.
Core trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Core prevents Leite from getting back to his feet.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Miguel Leite wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Leite swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Core counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Leite falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
