Tarasov looks to clinch
and Zirkhov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zirkhov.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Zirkhov throwing strikes but missing.
Zirkhov wants to pass the guard but Tarasov is keeping the position.
Tarasov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zirkhov on the ground.
Zirkhov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Zirkhov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tarasov, who protects the arm well.
Zirkhov tries to advance to mount but Tarasov denies him.
Zirkhov moves into full mount!

Zirkhov unloads with some shots from mount but Tarasov bucks and avoids them well.
Zirkhov wants to finish this one by submission but Tarasov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zirkhov.
Tarasov has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Zirkhov working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Tarasov is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Zirkhov has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Tarasov taps out!
