Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Tepez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tepez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ministry - NWO . Johnson has chosen Enter Sandman by Metallica as his entrance music. Vlad Tepez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carter Johnson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tepez wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Johnson.

Tepez is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johnson misses with a head shot.
Tepez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Johnson lands a big shot there that rocks Tepez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Vlad Tepez has been cut.
Tepez tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson wants to control the pace but Tepez is squirming around nicely.
Tepez keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Tepez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tepez is aware though and is defending well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson is looking to slow Tepez down with leg kicks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Tepez throws a lazy head kick
and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Carter Johnson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Tepez should have avoided that one.

Tepez is rocked!
Tepez walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Tepez limp body while Johnson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
