Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason McNeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Dylan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason McNeil!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNeil circles away from the clinch attempt
and McNeil counters with a single leg into guard. Dylan didn't expect that.
McNeil loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McNeil wants to control from the top but Dylan keeps moving.
McNeil might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dylan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason McNeil hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
McNeil misses with a low kick.
McNeil shoots in and gets a takedown into Dylan's guard.
McNeil in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

McNeil trying to control but Dylan is working from the bottom.

McNeil stands and throws Dylan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McNeil tries to score with some ground and pound. Dylan controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
McNeil thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dylan stops McNeil from passing to mount.
McNeil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dylan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

McNeil postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

McNeil looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McNeil working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Dylan prevents McNeil from improving position.
What's Dylan going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

McNeil swats away the attempt to clinch by Dylan.

McNeil tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dylan swivels and escapes.
Dylan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McNeil paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Daniel Dylan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason McNeil.
McNeil successfully pulls guard.
McNeil has a closed guard, preventing Dylan from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dylan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McNeil, up you get!

and McNeil counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dylan!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McNeil sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dylan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McNeil tries to control but Dylan wriggling away.

McNeil wants to control the pace but Dylan is squirming around nicely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McNeil throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dylan because McNeil loaded up on that one.
Dylan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dylan tries to get out of the position.
McNeil looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
McNeil punching from mount but Dylan doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Dylan is looking to improve his position but McNeil isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dylan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason McNeil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

McNeil is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

McNeil passes Dylan's left leg - he's now in half guard.
McNeil is keen to just control but Dylan is a slippery customer.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McNeil trying to mount his opponent but Dylan defends it.
McNeil is trying to control. Dylan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McNeil misses with a punch to the head.

McNeil throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Dylan!
Daniel Dylan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jason McNeil is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
