Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryant has chosen B Boy Stance as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tim Bryant has the eye of the tiger tonight.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tim Bryant! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez avoids the head kick by Bryant.
Sanchez throws a jab when Bryant was well out of range. Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bryant tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown but Bryant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sanchez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bryant dodges the punch combination from Sanchez.

Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time. Sanchez dives in and grabs Bryant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bryant pushes down on Sanchez's head and hops out. Bryant ducks right into an uppercut from Sanchez. Nice takedown defense from Bryant. No joy for Sanchez on that attempt. Bryant fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bryant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sanchez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bryant to the mat! Bryant manages to get full guard. Bryant wants to stand and escape but Sanchez is having none of it. Bryant keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. Bryant wants to sweep but no luck. Sanchez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanchez stands and steps away. Bryant gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Sanchez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
