Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slasher darts in trying to clinch
and Maynard counters with a stiff right hand.
Slasher moves out of range as Maynard throws a body kick.
Slasher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maynard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slasher tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Maynard counters with a nice kick to the body.

and Maynard counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Slasher drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Good leg kick by Maynard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Maynard throws a head kick but Slasher moves out of range.
Maynard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Slasher back to the cage. Maynard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Silvio Slasher has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maynard cracks Slasher with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
