The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyler lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tyler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Marecki shoots in and gets a takedown into Tyler's guard. Marecki slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Marecki is trying to get an arm triangle but Tyler is defending well. You can see the frustration on Tyler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Marecki controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marecki has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tyler is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Marecki yanks on the arm and Tyler is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Marecki.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roman Marecki!
