Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Whitmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim has chosen Dayman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Stephan Whitmore has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephan Whitmore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Kim! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Whitmore.
Whitmore turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Whitmore blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kim. Kim missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Whitmore is looking to improve his position.
Whitmore wants to control but Kim passes into side.
Kim lands an elbow. Kim postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kim is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Whitmore's shoulder. That is not cool. Kim lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Whitmore down.
Kim throwing shots but missing, from side control. Whitmore on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Whitmore takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Kim scoring with punches from side control. Kim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kim connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Whitmore some visible discomfort.
Whitmore takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kim lands a decent elbow from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kim landing a few strikes. Whitmore parries the strikes from Kim easily there. Kim is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Whitmore to escape.
Whitmore is breathing heavily. Kim scoring with punches and elbows.
Whitmore is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whitmore is letting Kim control him for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Whitmore taking a bit of punishment here - Kim scoring with strikes. Oh Whitmore is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Whitmore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground. Kim lands a decent elbow from side control. A big shot lands for Kim! That's hurt Whitmore! Will he recover? Kim fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
