Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Killsbrough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mickles throws a left and a right that both miss
and Killsbrough counters with a beautiful punch that sends Mickles to the canvas!
Mickles is breathing heavily.
Killsbrough trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Killsbrough must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Killsbrough stands up from Mickles's guard - Killsbrough perhaps looking for a knockout.
Killsbrough throws a sloppy head kick and Mickles moves out of range easily.
Killsbrough throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chris Mickles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Killsbrough counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mickles is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Killsbrough counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Killsbrough looks at the referee who does nothing so Killsbrough lands a crushing right that sends Mickles to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
