The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragic takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dragic throws a sloppy head kick
and Karl makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dragic misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Karl connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Dragan Dragic has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dragic throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Karl counters with a beautiful punch that sends Dragic to the canvas!
Dragic is rocked!
Karl slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oh Dragic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dragic seems to have got his legs back now.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Karl wants to pass the guard but Dragic is keeping the position.
John Karl has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Dragic misses with a lunging right hand
and Karl counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karl lands with a good body shot.
Dragic is breathing heavily.
Karl scores with the left hand. Dragic knows he should have avoided that one.
Karl throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dragic looks to throw a body kick
and Karl counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
