Wells has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bullock's face.

Bullock tries to hold on but Wells postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wells has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wells sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bullock can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wells cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

so Wells counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Wells seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bullock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wells looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bullock with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wells wants to control but Bullock is keeping him busy.

Wells closes the distance and clinches up with Bullock, looking for a takedown. Wells pushes Bullock against the cage but Bullock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bullock lands a left and a right that send Wells crashing to the mat, dazed. Bullock thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wells is rocked!
Seth Bullock seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bullock throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wells.
Oh Wells is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wells ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bullock moves away.
Bullock works Wells's body with a nice hook.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Seth Bullock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Wells gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Bullock gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seth Bullock!
