Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andriy Timochenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Ignashov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andriy Timochenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexey Ignashov! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Timochenko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ignashov counters with a straight right hand. Timochenko with a lazy takedown attempt and Ignashov counters with a nice uppercut. Ignashov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ignashov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Timochenko on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ignashov goes for a takedown attempt but Timochenko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Timochenko has his takedown stuffed and Ignashov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andriy Timochenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ignashov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ignashov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Ignashov is adopting a defensive guard. Ignashov uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Ignashov seems keen to control Timochenko's posture. Ignashov pushes Timochenko off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timochenko has his takedown stuffed and Ignashov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Timochenko's guard. Timochenko controls Ignashov momentarily but Ignashov frees himself. Ignashov is pushing down on Timochenko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Timochenko is fighting to maintain full guard but Ignashov has managed to sneak the leg through. Timochenko wants to improve his position but Ignashov is controlling well.
Ignashov scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ignashov escapes and gets back to his feet. Andriy Timochenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ignashov rushes Timochenko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Timochenko digs a right hand underneath Ignashov's ribcage. Ignashov let out a lung full of air as it connected. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Timochenko makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Timochenko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Ignashov wants to break free but Timochenko has control.

Ignashov scores with a nice hook to the head. Ignashov jumps guard but Timochenko stands there with Ignashov around his waist. Ignashov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Timochenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Timochenko has his takedown stuffed and Ignashov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Timochenko fails with the takedown. Ignashov cracks Timochenko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Timochenko looks for a takedown but Ignashov sprawls well. Timochenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Timochenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ignashov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ignashov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Timochenko fails with the takedown and Ignashov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ignashov. Timochenko is looking to stand up but Ignashov isn't so interested in that idea. Timochenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ignashov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ignashov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ignashov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ignashov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ignashov passes Timochenko's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ignashov slips a nice elbow through Timochenko's hands, connecting with Timochenko's forehead. Ignashov thows a huge punch but Timochenko dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ignashov throwing shots but Timochenko is blocking nicely. Timochenko actively working from the bottom here. Ignashov lands with a punch from half guard. Timochenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ignashov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ignashov working the head and body with strikes. Ignashov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Timochenko tries to get to full guard but Ignashov has control of the leg. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ignashov seems to be looking for submissions.
Timochenko is trying to stand.

Ignashov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Timochenko just stands there and leans against the cage. Timochenko goes for a takedown attempt but Ignashov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Timochenko shoots and misses and Ignashov counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andriy Timochenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ignashov working the ground and pound. Timochenko can't do much from the bottom here. Ignashov has hold of Timochenko's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Timochenko seems comfortable defending it but Ignashov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Timochenko is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Timochenko is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ignashov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
