Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Worthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Rygar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Worthy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Rygar! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Worthy tries for a takedown but Rygar circles away easily and Rygar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like James Worthy has been cut. Worthy tries to sprawl but Rygar drives through with a takedown into half guard. Rygar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Worthy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Worthy moves into full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rygar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rygar sitting in guard here, content to control. Rygar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Worthy, up you get! Worthy has his takedown stuffed and Rygar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rygar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Worthy has an active guard here but Rygar has managed to pass into half guard.
Rygar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Worthy has managed to free his arm - good work. Rygar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Worthy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rygar slips a nice elbow through Worthy's hands, connecting with Worthy's forehead. Rygar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Ground and pound from Rygar. Rygar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Worthy defending well though. Worthy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worthy trying to control here.
Rygar decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Worthy with a poor takedown and Rygar counters with a shoot takedown. Worthy fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Worthy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Worthy is breathing heavily. Rygar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rygar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Worthy is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Rygar dominated that round. The cut man is working on James Worthy's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rygar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rygar has picked Worthy up - he's going for a ride! Rygar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Rygar is looking to advance position but Worthy won't allow it. Worthy tries to roll over but Rygar keeps him under control. Rygar trying to control the pace. Rygar working over Worthy with some ground and pound. Worthy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rygar gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Worthy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rygar to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rygar stands up from Worthy's guard - Rygar perhaps looking for a knockout. Worthy shoots and misses and Rygar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Worthy's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rygar stands up and waves to Worthy to follow him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Worthy throws a combination. Rygar tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Worthy with a lazy takedown attempt and Rygar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Worthy tries to roll over but Rygar keeps him under control. Worthy won't allow Rygar to pass to mount. Rygar sitting and controlling from the half guard. Tony Rygar has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rygar is trying to control the action in half guard but Worthy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rygar postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Worthy to stand up. Rygar feints and as Worthy raises his hands in defense, Rygar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rygaris looking to pass into half guard but Worthy pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Worthy is in guard. Worthy trying to control but Rygar is working from the bottom. Rygar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Worthy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rygar working for a triangle but Worthy defends it easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rygar can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worthy looking to sit in guard and control but Rygar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rygar trying to control but Worthy is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Rygar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on James Worthy's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Rygar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rygar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Worthy is squirming around, avoiding Rygar's attempts to control the action. Rygar putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Rygar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Worthy really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Rygar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Worthy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
