Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Calado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oli Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calado kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - The Day That Never Comes. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Calado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oli Andersson! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calado throws a head kick but Andersson moves out of range.
Calado misses with a combination
and Andersson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Andersson. Calado controlling the action here for a moment.
Calado tries to land a knee to the head but Andersson blocks with his arms.
Calado tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Andersson avoids it. Andersson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Andersson tries to pull guard but Calado holds him up against the ropes and eventually Andersson drops back down to his feet.
Andersson jumps guard and drags Calado to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Calado postures up in Andersson's guard and throws a big left but Andersson blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andersson managing to control the position. Calado postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calado postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Calado is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Calado wants to control from the top but Andersson keeps moving. Andersson is trying to keep Calado in close.
Calado trying to stand up but can't free himself from Andersson's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Calado wants to control from the top but Andersson keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Calado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Andersson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Calado misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Calado tries to clinch so Andersson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Calado being controlled here, momentarily. Calado wants to hit a switch here but Andersson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Calado there! Calado is trying desperately to improve position. Andersson controlling the position easily from mount. Calado can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson controlling from the full mount. Calado looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Calado is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Andersson.
Calado just trying to survive but Andersson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Andersson has good solid back control here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Calado grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. I would not like to be Calado right now.
Calado wants to get back to his feet. Andersson is riding his opponent, not letting Calado buck him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oli Andersson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Calado throws out a loose jab but Andersson uses good head movement to avoid it. Calado scores with a nice head shot. Calado tries to clinch and Andersson counters with a shoot takedown. Calado fights it but they end up in guard. Andersson tries to free his leg and advance position but Calado is retaining full guard. Calado wants to get back to his feet but Andersson passes into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Andersson lands a nice short elbow. Andersson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Calado tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Andersson has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Andersson punching from mount but Calado doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Andersson looking to finish with strikes here!

Calado knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andersson on the ground. Andersson throwing strikes here but Calado is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Calado is squirming around, avoiding Andersson's attempts to control the action. Andersson controlling the position easily from mount. Calado is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Andersson has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oli Andersson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Calado throws a leg kick which misses Andersson's front leg but catches the back leg as Andersson tries to avoid it. Calado throws a nice head kick!

Andersson prevents Calado from getting back to his feet. Calado keeping moving, preventing Andersson from controlling successfully. Andersson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Andersson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Oli Andersson wasn't active enough on the ground. Calado moves to clinch but Andersson breaks away and Andersson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A head kick by Calado misses and Andersson counters with a takedown into side control. The referee asks Andersson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Andersson prefers to stall for the moment though. Oli Andersson has got the better of the ground game so far. Andersson trying to control the action but Calado is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calado trying to remain calm as Andersson controls from the top position. Calado tries to buck Andersson off but Andersson is having none of it. Andersson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Oli Andersson wasn't active enough on the ground. Calado tries to clinch but fails miserably and Andersson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Calado's guard. Andersson wants to control from the top but Calado keeps moving. Andersson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Calado is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Calado is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Andersson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Andersson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Calado is avoiding damage well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Andersson tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Andersson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Calado is letting Andersson control him for a moment. Oli Andersson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Calado is trying to work for a sweep but Andersson has mounted him!
And that's the end of the fight! Oli Andersson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Andersson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
