The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Narukami sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pepper somewhat.
Narukami throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pepper sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Narukami with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Narukami looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Narukami throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pepper shoots in but Narukami avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Narukami connects with a leg kick. Pepper looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Narukami throws a hook but Pepper blocks it.
Narukami stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Narukami wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimbo Pepper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Narukami lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pepper takes a step back to recover.
Pepper is breathing heavily.
Narukami throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Narukami punishes Pepper's body with a nice straight punch.
Narukami throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pepper. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Narukami clobbers Pepper with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Jimbo Pepper has been cut.
Pepper on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Narukami lands a nice shot to the body.
Narukami lands a leg kick that knocks Pepper off balance momentarily.
A combination from Narukami does no damage.
BOOM! Narukami lands a beautiful left hook that drops Pepper. Pepper tries to recover but Narukami is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Pepper lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
