The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ribeiro slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kent wants to stand but Ribeiro is controlling the position.
Ribeiro controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kent wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ribeiro manages to pass to side control.
Ribeiro is working for a submission of some sort.

Ribeiro takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kent is trying to stand up here but Ribeiro is controlling him well.
Ribeiro wants to free his trapped foot but Kent is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ribeiro throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ribeiro is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
