The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mes Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A big right from Rollins misses.
Mes Jr avoids the body shot from Rollins.
Mes Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rollins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mes Jr wants to clinch but Rollins slips to the side
and Rollins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Krzysztof Mes Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rollins lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Mes Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rollins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mes Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Rollins.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rollins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mes Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rollins somewhat.

Rollins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mes Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mes Jr lands a nice shot that snaps Rollins's head back.


It looks like Henry Rollins has been cut.
Rollins stuffs the takedown attempt from Mes Jr. Mes Jr gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Mes Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Henry Rollins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rollins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mes Jr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Mes Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rollins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mes Jr counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rollins is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Well Rollins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
