The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allister moves in looking to clinch but Grenades pushes him off.
Grenades takes a swing at Allister's ribcage but misses.
Grenades misses with a hook. Allister ducked under it nicely.
Grenades dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Allister. Those never looked like landing.
Allister cracks Grenades with a good jab.
Grenades fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Allister is out of range.
Allister cracks a nice hook into Grenades's ribs.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Allister tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Grenades counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Allister is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grenades sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grenades. Allister does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Allister takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Grenades connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Grenades finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Allister's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Grenades falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Allister!
