The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Veer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Veer controlling the pace for now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rann Veer wasn't active enough on the ground.
