Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mardo Samora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mardo Samora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Snow! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Samora looks to land a body kick but Snow moved away. Samora avoids the body shot from Snow.
Samora drives through and clinches with Snow against the cage.
Snow has had enough of the clinch but Samora keeps him there for the moment. Snow gets underhooks to prevent Samora's takedown attempt.
Samora jumps guard and drags Snow to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Samora pushes Snow off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A jab from Snow finds it's way through Samora's defenses. Samora showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Snow.
Snow swings for the body but Samora moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Snow. Those never looked like landing. Snow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Samora swings away with a leg kick that misses. Snow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Samora checks a low kick from Snow. Snow throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Samora throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Samora scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Samora sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Snow defending well though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Samora is controlling the pace.
Samora seems to be working for a kimura but Snow defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Samora perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Samora has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We're going to have a standup here because Mardo Samora wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Snow connects with a body shot that sends Samora's belly button to the back. Nick Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Samora shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Samora showed some decent athleticism there. Samora keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samora works his way into side control. Samora decides to stand back up. Snow throws a series of punches but Samora moves out of range. Snow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Samora. Samora keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Snow misses with the combination.
Snow tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Samora is able to avoid easily. Snow lands a nice hook to Samora's body. Samora takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Some wild striking there from Snow.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow throws a nice looking combination but Samora bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Samora throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Snow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Samora is in Snow's guard. Samora pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snow is keeping the position for now. Samora controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Samora decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Samora checks a leg kick. Samora looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Samora shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snow pinned against the cage. Snow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mardo Samora dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Samora breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Samora takes the fight into the clinch. Samora goes for a takedown attempt but Snow pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Samora misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Snow throws a low kick but Samora avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow throws a lazy right hand but Samora sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Samora looks for a takedown but Snow sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mardo Samora. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snow throws a right and a left that both miss. Nick Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Samora throws a sloppy head kick and Snow moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow throws a front kick aimed at Samora's knee but Samora avoids it well. Snow connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Samora momentarily.
Samora takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

A combination from Snow does no damage. No luck with that takedown attempt from Samora. Snow misses with the combination.
Samora takes a shot right to the bread basket. Snow throws a jab when Samora was well out of range. Snow tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Snow fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Samora checks it well. Samora shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Samora was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Samora controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Samora stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Snow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Samora counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Samora.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samora stands up and waves to Snow to follow him. Nice sprawl there from Snow as Samora shoots in. Samora ducks right into an uppercut from Snow. Snow displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Mardo Samora is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Samora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snow scores with a jab. Samora acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Samora clinches. Samora pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Snow throws a low kick but Samora avoids it. Samora gets a double leg takedown into Snow's guard. Samora looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow is looking to stand back up but Samora counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Snow. Samora moves into full mount! Snow won't be happy about that! Samora get's back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snow misses with a few strikes there.
Samora checks a low kick from Snow. Snow tries to sprawl but Samora drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Well, if Samora is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Mardo Samora dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Samora moves into the clinch. Samora gets control of Snow's arms and successfully pulls guard. Samora will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Samora controlling Snow's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mardo Samora just wasn't active enough. Samora takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Snow tries to work over Samora's front leg with a kick but Samora checks it. Samora shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Snow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Samora is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Samora's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Samora gets to his feet. Snow looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Samora closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Check out the look on Samora's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Mardo Samora overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The strikes coming from Samora are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Samora has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Snow throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Samora counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Samora passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samora controlling the position easily from mount. Samora is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Snow can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Samora looking to control and managing it successfully. Snow is trying to stand up.
And that's the end of the fight! Mardo Samora showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Samora, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
