Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Royce Bosco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royce Bosco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Nelson! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bosco counters with a left to the body. Nelson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nelson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bosco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nelson pushes Bosco up against the cage in a clinch. Nelson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bosco clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Nelson controlling well, preventing Bosco from escaping the position.
Bosco tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bosco tries to improve his position but instead Nelson has taken his back! Nelson not allowing Bosco to control his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bosco breaks Nelson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bosco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bosco wants to pass the guard but Nelson is keeping the position. Nelson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bosco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bosco pushes down on Nelson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bosco is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nelson has managed to free his arm - good work. Bosco wants to take a breather but Nelson is having none of it. Bosco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nelson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bosco. Bosco has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nelson defend it? Bosco steps over the head and cranks it - Nelson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bosco!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Royce Bosco!
