Rudd is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up. Chris Rudd is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manji Rigaldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Rudd! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rigaldo moves into the clinch. Rigaldo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rudd clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Rigaldo doesn't have the hooks in and Rudd manages to turn into his guard.
Rudd slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. You can see the frustration on Rigaldo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rudd decides to stand back up. Rudd steps back and let's Rigaldo get back to his feet. Rudd gets the takedown into side control. Rudd grinds an elbow into Rigaldo's temple. Rudd is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rigaldo is trying to escape and Rudd transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rigaldo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rudd! Very nice indeed!
