Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Pejkaiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). House kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Links 2,3,4. Ray House has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ray House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Piotr Pejkaiya! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! House lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A punch combination from House misses. House throws out a loose jab but Pejkaiya uses good head movement to avoid it. House misses with an uppercut. Pejkaiya saw that one coming. House looks to land a right hand but Pejkaiya moved out of range. Pejkaiya tries to clinch up. Pejkaiya is looking to take this fight into the clinch. House throws a lazy uppercut
and Pejkaiya holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pejkaiya tries to throw a body punch but House avoids it by throwing Pejkaiya back against the cage. Pejkaiya gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. House preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pejkaiya wants to control from the top but House keeps moving. Pejkaiya postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! House is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pejkaiya, into his guard. Pejkaiya wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. House landing with the ground and pound. Pejkaiya looking to hit a scissor sweep but House is one step ahead there. House wants to control from the top but Pejkaiya keeps moving. Pejkaiya wants to sweep here but House controlling him for the moment. House wants to control from the top but Pejkaiya keeps moving. We're going to have a standup here because Ray House wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Pejkaiya defending well as House loads up on a big left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pejkaiya looks to land a combination but House avoids it well. Pejkaiya pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces House back to the cage. Pejkaiya follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Pejkaiya decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. House regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Pejkaiya. House trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pejkaiya is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! House is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! House has escaped and now he's on top! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. House lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. House wants to control from the top but Pejkaiya keeps moving. House drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pejkaiya dives on top into guard. Pejkaiya prevents House from getting back to his feet. House working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pejkaiya. Pejkaiya postures up and lands a big shot to House's brow. House controls Pejkaiya momentarily but Pejkaiya frees himself. Pejkaiya tries to free his leg and advance position but House is retaining full guard. Pejkaiya trying to control the position from guard on top but House is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Piotr Pejkaiya has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. House connects with a body shot that sends Pejkaiya's belly button to the back. Pejkaiya looks for a takedown but House sprawls well. Pejkaiya closes the distance and lands a one-two. Pejkaiya is looking to clinch. House catches Pejkaiya with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ray House seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. House misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Pejkaiya dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pejkaiya drops his hands momentarily and House takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Pejkaiya tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. House defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pejkaiya. House misses with a right hand and Pejkaiya moves into the clinch. Pejkaiya misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Pejkaiya escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. House gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. That's three minutes gone in the round. Pejkaiya utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. House chips away with some ground and pound. Pejkaiya is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and House defends well. Pejkaiya looking to hit a scissor sweep but House is one step ahead there. House loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hammerfist, elbow! yells House's corner. There ya go! There ya go! That was a close second round but I would say that Ray House will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Possibly, maybe, no Pejkaiya has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pejkaiya creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pejkaiya working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from House. House trying to control but Pejkaiya is working from the bottom. Pejkaiya working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. House doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. House manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pejkaiya tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pejkaiya is looking for a triangle but House pushes his legs off easily.
Pejkaiya lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for House!

Pejkaiya can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as House is looking to escape. House blocking the ground and pound. Pejkaiya trying to control but House is having none of it. Pejkaiya is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. House can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Pejkaiya wants to control the pace but House is squirming around nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Piotr Pejkaiya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pejkaiya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
