Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Riou Genkaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Sliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Riou Genkaku has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genkaku misses with a takedown attempt
and Genkaku takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Sliver counters with a nice uppercut.
Sliver gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Genkaku to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sliver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Genkaku postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sliver is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Genkaku, into his guard.
Sliver keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Genkaku's head.

Sliver drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sliver jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Genkaku has his foot on Sliver's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sliver works his way back into a safe position though.
Genkaku has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sliver should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Genkaku has tightened it up now! Sliver should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
