Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rich Show! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Bear! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear avoids the head kick by Show.
Show fails with the takedown. Bear tries to clinch but Show moves out of range. Bear shoots in and bounces Show off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bear trying to control but Show is working from the bottom. Bear is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bear is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Show is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear throwing strikes from guard but Show blocks nicely. Bear pushes down on Show's leg and manages to get into half guard. Show is trying to maintain the position but Bear is very close to passing his half guard. Bear is trying to control the action in half guard but Show is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bear is trying to work for a kimura but Show is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bear passes to full mount! Show tries to lock up and control but Bear gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bear looking to control but Show is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Show defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bear. Bear trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Show is working to get back to half guard.
Show tries to hold on but Bear pushes him away. Show on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Show tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear get's back to his feet. Bear pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Show shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bear is working to get back to half guard.
Show looking to secure an arm triangle but Bear defends it well. Bear wants to hold on but Show pushes him away. Show raining down shots from the mount! Bear working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Show working for a submission but Bear is keeping him at bay. Bear is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bear sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bear is trying to stand up here but Show is controlling him well. Bear regains full guard. Nicely done. Show prevents Bear from getting back to his feet. Bear tries to land a sweep but no joy. Show trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Bear dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Show misses with an uppercut
and Bear counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Show keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bear wants to free his trapped foot but Show is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bear trying to control from half guard but Show is working away. Show is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bear scores with a couple of nice shots. Bear lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Show is trying to get back to full guard. Bear decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Bear drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear stands and steps away. Show gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bear shoots for a double leg takedown but Show sprawls well. He's pushed Bear's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Show scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bear tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Show wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bear gets back to half guard. Bear wants to improve his position but Show is controlling well.
Show looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bear is trying to control but can't.
Bear is looking for a sweep. Show is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear tries to kick Show off but Show keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Show thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bear's head. Show tries to stand and escape but Bear is controlling the position. Bear looks like he's trying to stand up.
Show is looking to take a break and control but Bear is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Show moves in looking to clinch but Bear pushes him off. Show gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bear counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear prevents Show from standing back up.
Show is not content to let Bear control the position. Bear takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bear seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Show does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bear passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Show! Bear lands a heavy elbow. Bear controlling from mount. Bear can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Show is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear lands a nice shot to the head. Show taking shots to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bear is landing with some decent strikes but Show is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Show is looking to get to half guard. Bear lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Show hang on? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Show reaches up to try and control the position but Bear seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Show rolls and tries to escape and now Bear has his back!
Bear lands punches and elbows. You can see the frustration on Show's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Bear shoots in but no luck this time. Show shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bear defends it nicely. Bear misses with a few strikes there.
Bear manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Show on his heels. He'll look to pass Show's guard now, I'm sure. Show avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Show looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Show trying to keep a closed guard but Bear is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Show keeping full guard, as Bear tries to pass. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Show throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear trying to control but Show is working from the bottom. Bear with a nice head shot there. Bear postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Show is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bear, into his guard. Show avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bear is looking to advance position but Show won't allow it. Bear is trying to control. Show wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Show wants to improve his position but Bear is controlling well.
Bear is taking a breather. Show says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear wants to take a breather but Show is having none of it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Show trying to control but Bear postures up.
Max Bear has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bear misses with a body shot
and Show counters with a takedown into side control. Show stands up. Show fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck for Bear with that takedown attempt. Show shoots in and gets a takedown into Bear's guard. Bear pushes Show off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bear is defended easily by Show. Rich Show has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Bear. Show is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bear's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Show seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bear is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Show's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Show's back! Bear is looking for the choke from the back position but Show is controlling his hands well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Show is taking damage to the body and head. Bear is persistently looking for the submission but Show is defending it well.
Rich Show has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Max Bear is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Show is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rich Show. I think Bear has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
