Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentijn Overmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Ciggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overmin comes to the cage accompanied by Swedish house mafia: Miami 2 Ibiza. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Valentijn Overmin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stevie Ciggs! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overmin throws a head kick but Ciggs moves out of range.
Ciggs with a lazy takedown attempt and Overmin counters with a shoot takedown. Ciggs fights it but they end up in guard. Overmin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Overmin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Overmin trying to control but Ciggs is working from the bottom. Overmin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Overmin scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Overmin trying to control the position from guard on top but Ciggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ciggs can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Overmin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ciggs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ciggs is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Overmin stopping the sweep attempt from Ciggs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ciggs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ciggs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Overmin, pushing him back against the cage. Overmin has hold of one of Ciggs's legs. Ciggs is fighting the takedown attempt but Overmin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Ciggs is looking to stand up but Overmin isn't so interested in that idea. Ciggs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Overmin. Ciggs is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Overmin wants to control from the top but Ciggs keeps moving. Overmin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Overmin stands up over Ciggs, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ciggs wants to stand up but Overmin is controlling him. Overmin scoring with punches to the head and body. Overmin postures up in Ciggs's guard and throws a big left but Ciggs blocks it. Overmin wants to control from the top but Ciggs keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Overmin stands up from Ciggs's guard - Overmin perhaps looking for a knockout. Ciggs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ciggs!
Overmin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ciggs as he avoids it easily. Ciggs gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Overmin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Overmin is looking for a kimura here.
Overmin prevents Ciggs from improving his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Overmin controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Overmin slips a nice elbow through Ciggs's hands, connecting with Ciggs's forehead. Overmin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ciggs tries to kick Overmin off but Overmin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ciggs on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ciggs is not content to let Overmin control the position. Overmin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ciggs could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Overmin has cracked it and Ciggs is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Overmin!
